Bohol, Wedding Venue Hunt & More

This was our second trip to Bohol. I was recovering from a flu when we arrived at Panglao Island and the fresh sea breeze and the organic food (including the malunggay ice cream) from Bohol Bee Farm were just what I needed to recuperate.

The trip was intended to do ocular visits at potential venues for our wedding next year. With our ever-dependable motorcycle ride from Roberto's, we visited several resorts around the island.

We chose a small homey one along Momo beach, which was away from the crowds of Alona beach. We even found this boat by its shore as if sent as a sign from above.

Needless to say, we cannot NOT go snorkeling and diving when in Bohol. Since we were not able to dive during our first visit due to bad weather, we made sure to do so during this trip.

And Balicasag surely did not disappoint. During our dive, we saw a circling school of silver jacks as if forming a tornado! Definitely one of the best dives we've had so far!

We also contacted our boatman friend, Mang Larry and he brought us to the other side of Balicasag island so we don't need to pay the tourist fees.

Since we wanted to explore further, he brought us around Gakang island. While we were snorkeling, Larry went swimming too and harvested some sea urchins for Lubos to try.

Becoming a tradition, we would always end our days in Panglao Island chasing sunsets. We rode our motorcycle in search for secluded beaches. This time, we visited Doljo Beach (again) and Panglao Beach - with only each other's company and the vast ocean in front us.
