This is a mind-blowing place because of its amazing Derinkuyu Underground City, astonishing salt lake- Tuz Gölü, the best sunsets over fairy stone formations with houses and amazingly preserved historical churches inside of them
Besides you can check on awesome art, especially carpets and pottery and something only seen here- a show with a horse in an underground restaurant :)
Istanbul
Because you will have to go there :) anyway and because of its mosques, gummy ice cream and vibrant city life

Honorable mention. For its sweets export to the world, and equally sweet experience to know the local people. They are the reason to go there :)
South-eastern Turkey

Sanliurfa- See the sacred fish pond and feel the peaceful atmosphere from the castle above the city, which is known to be one in the region, where agriculture began and where Armenian alphabet was invented.
