Thresher Sharks in Malapascua
After 5 hours non aircon bus ride from Cebu to Pier and a short boat ride to Malapascua we stayed in a resort in Tawigan village, on the opposite side of the island main village, where were the dive shop Malapascua Dive Link and restaurant.
First day we rented a motorbike and visited local villages, trekked to the lighthouse and checked on the white sand beach near Guimbitayan village.
One evening we intended to find the Coral Garden and snorkel there from kayaks we rented. One of them had a hole and so we had to abort amazing sunset snorkeling earlier then expected.

We did advanced open water training with Dennis (Dive Instructor), Emilia (safety instructor on taining), Mariela ( instructor), with dives in Lapus-Lapus, Chocolate (2) and Monad Shoal (2) with Thresher Sharks, Black Tip Reef Shark and Eagle Ray.
Then around Gato Island (2) with a ray, unfortunately we couldn't see any sharks in coming out from the underwater cave.
We also went to Big Rock dive spot mostly with macro and had 1 night dive in Dakit-Dakit island where Anna's spotlight attracted few sea snakes a a crab carrying a soft coral. There were mostly crabs and shrimps.
